Yvonne Marie "Cookie" (Taylor) Alger,age 73, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, August 15, 2026.
She was born in Prince George, VA on February 5, 1953, to Wilbur "Buck" and Effie Jamison.
She is survived by one brother, a daughter and son-in-law, three sons and one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2000 Powell Dr., Powell, TN, 37849, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00pm.
