Wilma Ledford McClain

Wilma Ledford McClain age 89, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Wilma was born in Knoxville to the late Robert and Ethel Fielden Ledford. She attended Powell High School and Knoxville Business College. She worked as a secretary and an office Administrator.

Wilma was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. McClain, sons, Jack McClain, Jr. and Jay McClain, sisters, Evelyn Huskey, Carrie Henderson and Linda Bridges; and brother, Jim Ledford.

Wilma is survived by her son, Jeff McClain and daughter-in-law, Kayla, grandson, Phoenix, sisters, Delcie Everett, Della Ledford and Wanda Ledford, brother, Denny Ledford, several nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at East TN State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Hwy) for a 10:00 AM graveside service officiated by Pastor Terry Barnwell.
