Wilma Steele Berry

Wilma Steele Berry, age 84, of Corryton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was a member of Texas Valley Baptist Church where she served faithfully as the food coordinator for the church, and was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.

Wilma retired from NHC Nursing Home where she served as Activity Director for over 20 years. She loved to cook for others and her family.

Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Florence Steele; brother, Robert (Sonny) Steele, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward Berry; sons, James (Tina) Berry and Allen (Leann) Berry; grandchildren, Ashton (Tyler) Davis, Alex (Sarah) Berry, Autumn (Andy) Hibbett and Austin Berry; great grandchildren, Wryn and Arch Davis, Lane Hibbett; sisters, Janice (Roy) LaRue, Bonnie Cassady, Jewell Clevenger; brothers, Bill (Carol) Steele, Willard (Linda) Steele; several nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends will meet at 1:45pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Ft. Sumter Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service officiated by Rev. Bill McCarter.
