Willie U. Tolliver

With deep sorrow but with faith in God's plan, our loving and devoted mother, Willie Toliver, was called home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2025 at age 94. 

She was born to Charles and Agnes Tolliver on May 25, 1931 in Union County, TN. As the middle child of 13 children, she excelled at caring and supporting her family. As a single mother, she was especially devoted and supportive of her two sons ensuring not only their needs were met nut most of their wants. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Agnes Tolliver; her 12 brothers and sisters; Charles, Carson, Jim, Lillian, Nancy, Haywood, Lib, Jane, Herbert, Joe, Johnny, and Garland. 

She is survived by her loving sons, Ronnie Toliver of Blaine, TN and Allen (Lisa) Maples of Talbott, TN; granddaughters, Carrie (Travis) Cobb of Chattanooga, TN and Heather (Brett) Smith of St Mary's, GA. Also two special friends she lovingly referred to as "daughters', Amy Welch of Tazewell, TN and Robin Kraft of Mobile, AL. 

A private service was held October 10, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City with a burial October 11, 2025 at Hansard's Chapel United Methodist Church, Maynardville, TN. Pastor Brian Rhodes officiated.
