Willie "Buddy" Bell

Willie (Buddy) Bell, age 87, of Heiskell, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 22, 2023.  Buddy was a retired ironworker, with Union 384.  He loved being outdoors working on various projects.  He was known for his kind heart and willingness to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. He had a quick wit and a tremendous sense of humor.  He loved meeting new people and enjoyed socializing with everyone.  He considered being outside in his garage with a diet coke and a honey bun to be the perfect day. Buddy was preceded in death by his loving wife Charlotte Bell, his parents, Andy Cody Bell and Lola Marie Bell, his sisters Bertha “PeeWee”, Gertie, and Trula Mae, and son-in-law Gene Smiley. He is survived by his daughters, Jane Ford (Michael Ford) and Tracie Smiley, his six grandchildren, Santana White, Brooke Phibbs, Ragan Powers, Lakin Ford, Taylor Smiley, Peyton Smiley and four great-grandchildren. A heartfelt thank you goes to the wonderful caretakers that gave so much love and support to Buddy and his family.  They have become like family and words can’t express how much they are loved and appreciated for their care and devotion. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with funeral service following at 7:00pm, Reverend Doug Fielden officiating.  Family and friends will meet 10:45am Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Mt.
