William "Willie" Lewis Carmon, Jr.

William "Willie" Lewis Carmon, Jr. age 47, of Corryton, son of of William Lewis Carmon, Sr. (whom preceded in death) and Barbara A. Brown, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 12, 2025.  William was an avid University of Tennessee fan.  William will be missed by his daughters; Dorothy A. Jones, Mary J. Jones and Hallie M. Carmon as well as high school sweetheart and mother of his daughters, Dorothy "Dot" Ryder.  William will also be missed by his sisters; Dorene Godwin, Joyce (Paul) Covington and Sherri (Matt) Bridges.  William was a special uncle and great uncle as well as a well loved nephew, cousin and friend to many.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev Andy Lynn officiating.  Family and friends will meet 2:45 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Haun Cemetery in Union County for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
