William "Willie" Charles Thomas

William “Willie” Charles Thomas age 57, of Powell, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 29, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles V. Thomas, Jr., paternal grandparents, Charles V. (Marian) Thomas and maternal grandparents, William O. (Mossie) Sharp. Willie is survived by his daughter, Kayla Thomas; grandson, Mason; mother, Lela Hunter; sisters, Pamela (Rickey) Dyer, Sherri (Shannon) Conard, Vicki (Doug) Taylor and Deborah Clausen; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Angela) Dyer, Shawn Haimelin, Jason Martina, Kacey (Chris) Manning, Trevor Clausen, McKenna Cowan and Landon Cooper; and special friend, Faye Shapler.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 7:00 PM funeral service officiated by Pastor Brent Turnmire. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for a 12:00 PM interment.
