William Lawrence Reed

William Lawrence Reed, 82, of Sevierville TN, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. He was born on August 9, 1943, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is survived by his loving wife, partner and soul mate Paulette Shirley and sister Marion Virkus, (TX) and sister-in-law Sandi Strizak, (TN). Also, survived by his children William G. Reed (daughter in law Cindy, grandchildren Terry, Jason and Hailey Reed), Darren L. Shewfelt (daughter in law Tracy, grandchildren Logan Shewfelt , Amber and Mike Moffat, great grandchildren Kingston, Bauer, Oakley and Rowan Moffat), Yvonne S. Greiner (son in law Bob and grandchildren Reed, Ryen, Rob and Alicia Greiner, Great grandchildren Gemma Knope, Dayton Ruppel and Robbi Greiner), Danna L. Gominiak (son in law Christopher and grandchildren Grace and Ellie Gominiak). He was predeceased by his father William and his mother Lillian Reed. A celebration of life will be held at the Reeds Residence 656 Dwight Lane, Sevierville TN. on November the 20 th from 2-5pm. Mr. Bill had 40 plus years in the concrete pumping industry in Alberta, Southwestern Ontario, and Western New York. Resettled in Tennessee retired servicing the of City Pigeon Forge Mass Transit, driving Trolley for many happy locals and tourists. He will be deeply missed. He was a man of integrity and will be remembered for his strong work ethic, warmth, beloved soul who touched many people’s lives.
