William Gene Draper

William Gene Draper, age 52, of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2022. William was a member of Crosswalk Community Church and retired from East Tennessee Children’s Hospital where he worked as a medical housekeeper. He was an avid UT Football fan and also enjoyed volunteering with the Shriners Hospital for Children. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Draper and Mary Jane Mink; sister, Winnie Draper; and grandparents, Moses and Lottie Mink. He is survived by his sister, Nellie Couch; nephew Anthony (Rachel) Couch; and great-niece and great-nephews, Bryson, Mason, Alli, and Simeon. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
