William Edward Coatney

William Edward “Bill” Coatney, age 85 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 after a brief illness. He was a longtime member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his late wife, Ruth Ann Coatney, daughter Tina R. Belz, son-in-law Paul L. Belz, Jr., parents, William R. and Nellie D. Coatney, and sisters; Iva McGhee, Roberta Hammett, and Imogene Kincaid. He leaves behind his daughter Donna Coatney Currie (Stuart), grandchildren; Hayden Currie, Landon Currie, Justin Belz (Rachel), Savannah Belz, and great-grandchild Callum Belz.
