Tommy Buckner, 66, of Knoxville Tn passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 20th
Tommy was born on November 3rd of 1958 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to parents Tom Buckner and Margret Buckner (Cadle) He attended Halls High School and was a part of the class of 1977.
Tommy is survived by His wife Devona Buckner. His children Daughter Sarah Buckner (Mull), Sons Will and Daniel Buckner, and Daughter Brandy Osborne (Jonathan Osborne) as well as his grandchildren Charlotte Mull, Haisley Buckner, Pierce Osborne, Caleb Osborne, and Caroline Osborne and nephew Josh Briscoe. He was preceded in death by his father Tom Buckner, mother Margret Buckner (Cadle), sister Myra Hollingsworth, and nephew John Briscoe.
Tommy spent most of his early years running Norris Lake where he built one of his first homes and thumbing through the woods of East Tennessee. He will be remembered for his love of Fishing (with his longtime friend, Jimmy Henderson), Hunting, fast cars, and the Tennessee Volunteers. He Loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him truly the best years of his life.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday June 24, from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel Followed by 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday June 25, 2025, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service.
