William Eugene Bailey, Jr.

William Eugene Bailey Jr, also known as Will or Billy, 65 years old, went to his heavenly home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025 after many medical issues. He is preceded in death by his dad, William (Bill Sr.), sister Kimberly (Bailey) Gilbert, grandparents, Betty and Fred Bailey Sr, Artie and Enoch Hurt, and fur baby Haley.

He is survived by mother, Ella Mae (Hurt) Bailey, sister Kelly (Bailey) Vaughn, son Billy Wayne Bailey, nephews, Jerry and Matthew Mashburn, Donald (Jr) Gilbert, brother-in-law, Donald Gilbert Sr, aunts, Glenda Lawson Rhodes and Judy McGill, many cousins and relatives, special friends, Missy Thomas, Reva Nicely, Karen Hurst, Deborah Teffentellar, Kevin Mitchell, Tim and Joe Anderson, Ray and Dawn Brown.

Billy truly loved his family and friends to the moon and back and loved being able to help others, he never met a stranger. His favorite Bible Verse was “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” – Phil. 4:13, many thanks for all the prayers and comments.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, followed by a 7:00pm funeral service, Rev. Eddie Meyers officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 12:45pm for a 1:00pm graveside service.
