Wayne Lawson Collins

Wayne Lawson Collins, age 71, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord July 8, 2013. Wayne was of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Veteran serving in the Marines and an antique car enthusiast. Preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Mary Collins; stepson, Dennis Laxton. Survived by wife, Dorothy Bell Collins; children, Billie Ann and Jim Watkins, Ruby and Craig Laxton; grandchildren, April, Steven, Michelle Watkins, Leonard Sterling, Amanda Laxton, Randy, Jim Brewer; great-grandchildren, Lexi Torney, Thad Sterling, Jada Torney, Caleb, Cory, Mavan, Laila, Raize Watkins, Aaliyah Blackwell, Mikaeli, Lil “R”, Alex Brewer. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Wednesday at Trentville Cemetery for 11:00 am graveside service. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
