Warren Jewil Mantooth went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2026. He was born April 24, 1929 to Mintha McCarter and Jewel Fred Mantooth. He was a Korean War Veteran and a purple heart recipient. He was retired from the Army Reserve and Dairymen Inc. He was a longstanding member and deacon of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Andersonville, TN. His love for his family and friends was unconditional. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trula Mae (White) Mantooth, sister, Nadean (Gene) Kerr, brothers, Ted (Helen) Mantooth, Don (Gerrie) Mantooth, Bill (Mary) and (Juanita) Mantooth, Aunts, Grace (James) Bradley and Iva (Lloyd) Lundy. Left behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Janice (Michael) Cauley, granddaughters, Amy (Brent) Smartt, Amanda (Chad) Capley, great-grandchildren, Evan (Hollie) Smartt, Hayden Capley, Derek (Savannah) Smartt, and Abigail Capley (Canaan Plummer), great-great-grandsons, Jace Beck, Grant and Warren Smartt, as well as nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a funeral service to follow officiated by Tom Aiken. Interment will be at 3:00pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery in Andersonville, TN. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
