Wanda Jeanette Baker

Wanda Jeanette Baker, age 81, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was of the Christian Faith. She adored animals, enjoyed baking, and loved her grandchildren very much.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Geraldine; sisters, Sam Hoskins and Alice Tackett; and brother Dickie Hatmaker.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Howard Baker; sons, Pete Daugherty and David Daugherty; grandchildren, Steven Daugherty, Logan Daugherty, Alayna Daugherty; and sister, Wilma Rutherford (Harvey) and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 10:45 AM at Baker Cemetery (Thomas Weaver Rd) for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
