W. Allen Marston

W. Allen Marston, age 85 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 3, 2022. He was born July 27, 1937 in Lawrence County, Tennessee. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Ft. Valley, GA. Allen enjoyed working on diesel engines and was great at repairing most anything. Allen’s joy was in his children and grandchildren and his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Soulby; parents, Jerry and Emma Lee Marston; brothers, Ronnie Marston and Bob Marston; sisters, Frances Chance, Helen Lindsey, Dot Anderson and Jean Newton and the mother of his children, Betty Marston Stanley. Allen is survived by his daughters, Kim Holt and Tammy (Gary) Hibben; grandchildren, Chris Brady, Adam (Sarah) Brady, Marty Marston, Kara Holt, Mukisa Holt; six great grandchildren; sister, Claudia Marie Wilson; brother, Sam Marston; sister-in-law, Pat Marston; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge with great appreciation, the second floor staff of Shannondale Health Care and the home caregivers, Jamie Beason, Lisa Gastuch and Elizabeth Duncan for their outstanding love and care. Family and friends will meet 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery, for a graveside service with Pastor Mike Vincent officiating.
