Virginia Pearl Galyon

July 4, 1939 — April 14, 2022

"Jenny" Virginia Perl Galyon ( Miller ) departed this plane of existence peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Born on the 4th of July in 1939, Mama, Mamaw was truly a firecracker with a passion for life, country music, gardening, nature and had a deep loyalty to her country and her family. She was beloved by family, friends and neighbors and never met a stranger. With a warrior's spirit she faced life's many struggles with true grit, determination and stubbornness. As the matriarch of the family, she's survived by her two daughters; Gina Galyon and Cynthia Baglin and her grandson; Damion Batchelder, all of whom she devoted her whole life to. She is survived by her baby brother Kyle "Hotshot" Miller and many cousins, nieces and nephews. As George Jones' number one fan, she "don't need your rocking chair", and no one will ever fill her shoes. Although her passing leaves us with a huge void and sadness, we are happy she is now at peace and no longer has to suffer the indignities of aging and infirmity. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please plant a flower or a tree in her memory. Online condolences can be left at Mynattfh.com
