Virginia "Meme" Varner Miles

Virginia Varner Miles “MeMe”, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 15, 2014. She previously was a member at Brown Gap Church but had attended Redemption Harvest Church the last couple of years. Preceded in death by son, Douglas Miles; grandsons, Jimmy Parton, Michael Parton, Michael Pique; very special granddaughter, Ginger Beamon; 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She is left to mourn, daughters, Billie Pique, Vivian and Jim Parton, Beverly and Larry Greenlee; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank special granddaughters, Janet Hatmaker and Misti Fielden and Tennova Residential Hospice, especially Lori and Shelly. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Gene Merritt and Rev. Jody Darden officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 am Sunday at Varner Family Cemetery for 10:00 am interment service.
