Virgil Eddie Carringer

Virgil Eddie Carringer, aka Pops was born November 2, 1935, passed from his loved ones on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Pops was a very proud Navy veteran, who enjoyed sharing all the stories about his years of services. Pretty ladies, old cars, family, friends, and Jack Daniel’s were the forte of his life. Pops is survived by the love of his life of 66 years, Wanda Jean Carringer, whom he would not have ever married had he known she was an Alabama gal. He left us to miss his stubbornness, kindness, and rhymes. He leaves behind his daughter Kimberly Jean Carringer of California and son Ricky Dean Carringer of Tennessee. Five grandchildren Hillari Carringer of Tennessee, Meghan Milot of Tennessee, Kyle (Christina) of California, Paige of California , and Jenna (Michael) of California. He also leaves behind his three great-grandchildren Tristan Eddie Milot of California, Peyton Lily Milot of California, and Lucas Daniel Milot of California. Pops loves his Applebees cheer bar friends and staff of East town. His word was his bond. Pops will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Go VOLS!
