Violetta Adams

Violetta Adams, age 84, of Clinton, TN passed away on Friday, August 16, 2023. We will never know how many lives she touched here on this earth, and I'm sure her reward will be great in heaven for the souls she won to Jesus and the love and kindness she showed to those who were down and out. She helped out the homeless, food and track ministries, and you had to know her to know she had a love for helping out and touching people's hearts. She was relentless and unashamed to witness to others what Jesus could do in their lives. Her family most of all.

Violetta is preceded in death by parents, Kelsey and Lillie Adams; sister, Alice Adams; brothers, Kelsey R. Adams and Robert Adams; and daughter, Tina Painter.

She is survived by children, Sherry Painter, Terry Frances Firth, Connie Bartley, Jennifer Martin, and Steve Adams; grandchildren, Bruce Compton, Jessica Slone, Will Compton, J. Michael Bartley, Jeff Vann, Aletta Francis, Julia Parsons, Chris Dinan, Rachel McDermott, Aaron Cornette, Elizabeth Cornette, Bethany Meeks, Graydon Craft Adams and William Jet Adams; great-grandchildren, Ryker Compton, Renzo Caballero, Taryn Caballero, Zoraya Caballero, Ellie Caballero, Gabby Slone, Zavior Slone, Tyson Slone, E.J. Bartley, Isabella Mullins, Ariana Mullins, Jayce Mullins, Ethan Cooper, Aislinn Cooper, Maggie Cooper, Catherine McDermott, Gabriel McDermott, Jackson Meeks, Ryker Dinan, Madeline Dinan, Kinsley Dinan, Lincoln Compton and Evie Compton; siblings, Delores Adams and Lorinda Grubbs.

The family will hold a memorial service in Violetta's name on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 5:00pm at the Dante Church of God, with Pastor David Synder officiating. The Church will open at 4:00pm for friends and family to gather and eat.
