Violet Parsley, 96 years of age formerly of Knoxville TN, passed away May 19, 2025. She was a resident Brooksdale Memory Care in Cleveland TN and a member of Dutch Valley Church of God. She retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 40 years of service. Violet was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother. She loved the lord and loved to praise and worship. Over the past year and a half, she enjoyed gospel music, banjo playing, painting and getting her nails done at what she called her apartment. We can't thank the staff and caregivers enough to which she called them her girls! "You're so Pretty" as she would say. Violet (memaw)shared the gospel with anyone and everyone especially at Brooksdale. Laying hands on several residents and staff. She was loved by them all and they shared a special place in her heart. The Golden Girls table will not be the same. Thank you also to Harpeth Hospice. Preceded in death by: Frank and Ethel Marsh (parents), Charles (Nepo) Parsley, Tony Evans (son), Marilyn Evans (daughter in law), 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Billy D.
