Vickie R. Whitaker

Vickie Rozenia (Simmons) Whitaker age 76, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Mabel Berry and Joe Simmons; husband, David Whitaker; grandchild, Davey Cranford. 

Survived by daughters, LaDonna Klien Young (Gary), Michelle Whitaker Woods (Grant), Bo Whitaker Cranford (Anthony); grandchildren, Baylee Woods (Andrew Madon), Dallen Woods (Kylee Hipsher), Brody Cranford, Zoey Cranford, Hunter Karnes; great-grandchildren, Grayson Hipsher, Ella Woods; special friends, Susan Hill, Faye Heydasch, DeDe Haynes, Carol Caldwell, Pam Collins; special neighbors, Joe, Alex, and Levi Burris and Debbie and Dennis West. Vickie was retired from Tupperware and Knox County Clerk's Office.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel from 5:00-7:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM, Dr. Bruce Marston officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
