Vetta Louise Click

Our loving mother and friend, Vetta Louise Click went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, after living on this earth for 92 years. Vetta was born on September 22, 1932, in Knoxville, TN. She was a longtime member of Alice Bell Baptist Church.

Vetta is preceded in death by her husband, James B. Click, parents Oakley and Nellie Atkins. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, son Danny Click (Karen) and daughter Teresa Finchum (Billy). Vetta’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandchildren: Morgan Bell (Jay), Jordan Click (Josie), Anna Ellison (Alex) and Michelle Ladd (Michael). Great-Grandmother to Kadie Bell, Dani Bell, Raylan Ellison, River Ellison and Holden Ladd. She also leaves behind her bonus son Garry Campbell.

The family would like to recognize UT Hospice Care for their loving comfort and care they provided. A heartfelt thank you to our regular hospice nurse, Cathy Morgan. She was the kindest and most loving nurse to our mom – Cathy is truly an angel.

The family will receive friends on Sunday August 24, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City Chapel followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm with Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to leave in procession for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
