Vasile Ghelan age 34 of West Knoxville passed away tragically from a plane accident on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was a member of Bethany Romanian Church of God and owner/ operator of Ghelan Tile and Stone. Survivors; wife, Ana Ghelan. Daughter; Amelia Ghelan. Parents; Valeriu and Valentina Ghelan. Siblings; Veaceslav Ghelan, Julian Ghelan, Vladimir Ghelan, Efim Ghelan, Ben Ghelan, Valeria Ghelan, Viktor Ghelan and Serglu Ghelan. Several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Slavic Gospel Church 1928 Fairmont Blvd. Knoxville, Tn. 37917. On Thursday, June 3, 2021 there will be another visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow 11:00 AM at Slavic Gospel Church 1928 Fairmont Blvd. Knoxville, Tn. 37917 with burial to follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery 2300 Adair Drive Knoxville, Tn. 37918.
