Vanessa Hines

Vanessa Hines age 61 of Knoxville, born November 26, 1961, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on November 6, 2023, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Coloness Hines and Atlena Jackson.

Vanessa grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. A God-fearing woman, she attended Greater Imani Church, The Cathedral of Faith in Memphis. She owned and operated The Cleaning Connection, a cleaning business she built with determination and care.

She loved to sing and dance, and she never missed a chance to go shopping.

She is survived by her daughter, LaJulieAnn Hines; her siblings, Christine Jackson, Beverly Pierce (Hines), and Tonya Grubbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, LaKesha Hines; and her siblings, Ernestine Scott (Hines), Michael Smith, and Sadie Jackson.
