Ulysses Simpson Booker

Ulysses “US” Simpson Booker, Jr., age 92, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. US was an Air Force Veteran and served in Korea. He worked as a Lineman for KUB for 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, US Booker, Sr. and Mossie; father and mother-in-law, Mana and Lula Dyke; sisters, Ann Sanders, Ruth Booker and Emily Booker; brother, Joe Booker; several nieces, and nephews. Survived by wife of 74 years, Mazel Booker; son, Mike Booker and daughter-in-law Cindy; sisters, Shirley Shockley, and Charlene Hill; brother, George Booker; grandchildren, Lindsey and Spencer Thomas and Michael and Christa Booker; great grandchildren, Grady and Graham Thomas, Adriana, Addelyn and Rylan Booker. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 12:30pm until 2:30pm. Immediately following the visitation, friends and family will process to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00pm graveside service officiated by Pastor Kent Williams.
