Trudy A Petitt

Trudy A. Petitt, age 89, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1934 in Sheboygan, WI to Frank and Teresa Brunmeier. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Madison, WI. Trudy was a nurse in Nashville for many years. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was known for a big laugh that was contagious.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Floyd Petitt, Sr.; brother, Howard and son-in-law, Bygone Smith.

Trudy is survived by her sons, Floyd, Jr. (Carla), Dr. Bruce (Pat) and Paul; daughter, Teresa Smith; grandchildren, Taylor, Joseph, Claire, Anna Lee, Zachary (Kaylee), Thomas, and Luke.

The family would like to say a special thanks to her faithful care partner, Kelly Turner and the staff at Care Around the Block.
