Tony Ray Wolfenbarger, age 76, passed away on March 6th, 2024, peacefully in his home. He was born in Bristol, Virginia but lived in Knoxville, Tennessee for the majority of his life. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Madden Wolfenbarger, his father, Vineyard Horace Wolfenbarger, and his brother, Ronald Ned Wolfenbarger. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Brenda Sue Wolfenbarger, sisters; Jewel Sparks (Bob), Rebecca Snyder (Robin), brothers; Danny Wolfenbarger (Diane), Gary Wolfenbarger (Allene), Ralph Wolfenbarger, children; Angie Stout (PD Bush), Tony Wolfenbarger (Emily), Herman Faddis, Heather Beranek (Jim), grandchildren; Andrew Welch, Skyler Stout, Caleb, Joshua, and Josiah Wolfenbarger, Austin and Dillin Faddis, Lily, Anna, and Keira Beranek, several great grandchildren and nephews. He was a humble and faithful servant to Jesus Christ. He preached his love for the Lord any chance he got. His hobbies included taking long drives, and spending quality time with his family. He lit up every room he entered and never met a stranger. He will be so greatly missed. The friends and family gathering will be held at Mynatt’s Funeral Home-Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive, Powell TN, 37849) on Monday, March 11th 2024 from 4-6PM. A service will follow directly after at 6PM. The service will be officiated by his son Pastor Tony Wolfenbarger, and his brother in Christ, Pastor Willis Shankles. He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville TN, 37918) Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 11AM.
