Tommy Eugene Gibson

Tommy Eugene Gibson, age 79 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; and avid car lover, who never met a stranger. Tommy was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Gibson; sister, Sharron Boling.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Evelyn Smith Gibson; daughter, Susan (Brad) Merryman; son, Michael Gibson; grandson, Patrick Merryman; siblings, Barbara Turner, Linda (Phil) Haire, Donny (Trish) Gibson, and Sheila (Kenny) Wade; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 8:15AM on Thursday, January 16, 2025 for an 8:30AM graveside service. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
