Tommy Dean Onks, age 60, of Ft. City, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at his home. He was a graduate of Gibbs High School class of 1980. He was a great salesman and worked for Whirlpool Corporation and various other businesses. Tommy was a member of Fountain City Church. He was an avid music lover and loved his grandchildren. Preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Jewell Onks, Frank and Reva Wilson; sister, Susan Kay Onks; son, Sted Korbitt Onks. Survivors include son, Jordan Onks; daughter, Talor (Griffin) Glaude; grandchildren, Lydia “Rosie” Onks, Lynnleigh Glaude and Jag Glaude; parents, Gene and Mary Nell Onks; brothers, Greg (Terri) Onks, Chris (Tara) Onks; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Fountain City Church, 2801 Holbrook Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918, followed by a 7:00pm Celebration of Life Service officiated by Rev. David Haynes. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Metropolitan Drug Coalition, 4930 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
