Timothy “Tim” Ray Evans, age 48 of Mascot went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 13,2026. Tim was a member of New River of Life Church. Tim was a wonderful husband, dad, Tim-pa, son and friend to all that knew him. Tim had a heart of gold and would help any and everyone he could. Tim was the type who would give you the shirt off his back, even if it were the only one he had.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Evans; brother, Chris “Chunk” Evans; and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Grove.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Evans; son, Dakota Evans (Katelyn); daughter, Skylar Maples (Isaac); mother, Mary Evans; father-in-law, Randy Grove; sister, Stacie Fleming; twin brother, Tony Evans (Amber); brother-in-law, Jesse Grove; his best friend/brother, Erick Beal (Tabatha); like a second dad to Chyenne Dangerfield, Lexus Beal and Amber Inman; niece, Taylor; nephew, Zack; great-nieces, Gracie and Charlotte; great-nephew, Everette; aunts, Donna, Sue; uncle, Bill; momma Rita; and many cousins. He was also Tim-pa to Colton, Raiden, Colton, Aiden, Casey, and Willow.
Family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a funeral service to follow officiated by Rev. Carl Brown. Family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 9:45am for a 10:00am graveside service. Pallbearers: Dakota Evans, Tony Evans, Erick Beal, Jesse Grove, Isaac Maples, Adam Duncan, Adam Inman and Devin Chambers. Condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
