Timothy Lary

Timothy “Chip” Lary, age 66, passed away on May 17, 2025 in his home in Powell, Tennessee. Born May 16, 1959, Chip was a retired truck driver and a proud Army veteran who loved being behind the wheel of his rig and who dedicated part of his life to serving his country.

Chip was proceeded in death by his cherished wife, Susan Kay Lary, his father James Carl Lary Sr., his mother Juanita G. Lary, and his brother Charles Edward Lary.

He is survived by his two daughters Kristy Bowman and LeAndrea Osentoski, his sister, Pat Miller, his brother, Jim Lary, his nephew Jimmy Lary, his four grandchildren – Hunter, Ravenna, Jonathan and Celena, and his 6 great-grandchildren – Paisley, Luke, Octavius, Sawyer, Oakley, and Wyatt.

Chip was a proud Army Veteran who loved nothing more than to be behind the wheel of his big rig. Chip will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends, but we can take comfort in knowing that he has gone home to be with all of the family that has passed before him.
