Timothy Todd Jones

Timothy Todd Jones, born May 26, 1961, in Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by the thoughts and love of those who knew him.

He was a man of great wit and intelligence, whose humor could light up any room. Above all, he loved his family deeply and was a compassionate friend to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Bob) Lee Jones and Dorothy Lee Jones; his brother, Benny Jones; his sister, Debra “Dee” Dellinger; and his nephew, Jeff Jones.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristy Metheny (husband, Cody Metheny), and his son, Todd Jones (wife, Jessica Jones). He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Ashlyn Mabry, Adrianna Mabry, Tyler Jones, Bryleigh Mabry, and Carson Jones, and a great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren, Ayla Mae Lanham and Ayana Marlena Icelyn Jones.

He also leaves behind his sister, Robyn Brogdon (husband, Hugh Brogdon), and his brother, Bobby Jones (wife, Mary Jones), along with several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that his memory be honored through kind thoughts, prayers, or a moment of remembrance.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
