Timothy Michael Crawford

Timothy Michael Crawford age 78 of Knoxville, TN., departed this world for his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, surrounded by his family.  Tim was born in Canton, Ohio but called Tennessee home for the past 51 years.  

Following high school, Tim enlisted with the United States Air Force and served for "3 years, 9 months, and 6 days".  He then attended and graduated from Columbus Technical Institute.  In 1975 TVA recruited Tim and he worked there the next 32 years.  Tim was an avid gardener, hunter, fisherman and an enthusiast for THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Preceded in death by his son Caleb Michael Crawford, grandson Carter Wesley Crawford, and parents Vivian and Thurman Crawford.  Remaining to celebrate his life is his best friend and wife of 57 years Paula, son Matthew (Kathy), daughter Courtney and 3 caring grandsons Matthew (Brianna), Brint, and Jacob.  Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 10:00 committal service with full military honors provided by the Tri County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. til 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Fellowship North  Church 3203 Tazewell Pike Knoxville, TN 37918 followed by a 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service Rev.
