Thomas "Greg" Snyder, Sr. age 60 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, after an extended illness. Greg was a member of Middlebrook Pike Baptist Church, retired employee of Lance Cunningham Ford and loved fishing, drawing, sports and being a handyman. Greg was a friend to everyone.
Preceded in death by his parents; James Clifford and Barbara Snyder, Sr.; sisters, Kathy Boggs, Amy McCarter and Sheila Moody; brother, Eddie Snyder. Survivors; wife of 26 years, Celia (Tapp) Snyder; children, Dustin (Selena) Hawkins, Thomas (Ashley) Snyder, Jr., Joshua (Missy) Snyder, Brian (Nikki) Wittmer and Brandon (Brittany) Wittmer; 11 grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Charlie) Bundren and Susan Riggs; brothers, Jim (Cathy) Snyder, Jr. (who was Greg's best friend), Marty (Tonya) Snyder and Mike (Carletta) Snyder; sister-in-law, Gloria Tapp; brother-in-law, David Tapp; numerous nieces and nephews; loved dearly by nephew, Cayden Tapp Yarbrough; as well as Moonpie, Bizzy, Perada and Max the loving wonder dogs!
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Tennova Hospice staff for their loving care. There will be a receiving of friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City followed by a 7:00 P.M funeral service; Chaplain Buran Phillips officiating.
