Thelma R. Wilkerson, age 90, passed away June 10, 2022. Preceded in death by husband, Glen Wilkerson; son, Gerald Wilkerson; daughter, Glenda Mink and husband Gary Mink; sister-in-law, Bonnie DeFord; parents, Charles and Helen DeFord. Survivors include brothers, Alvin (Bud) DeFord, Virgil Deford (Linda); grandson, Lee Mink and special granddaughter, Kim Burchfield and husband Keith for the care they gave her; she leaves 11 great grandchildren with a special thanks to Brandi Scott, a loving and caring great granddaughter; 7 great great grandchildren; 1 nephew; 1 niece; 2 great nephews; sisters-in-law, Lucille Livingston and Kathleen Cortner. Special thanks to all the nurses at NHC Johnson City. Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 1:00pm until 2:30pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Following the visitation, family and friends will go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00pm graveside service officiated by Rev. Larry Woods. Pallbearers will be Brandon Burchfield, Lee Mink, Randall DeFord, Wes Goddard, Tanner Rives, Gabe Rives and Greg Rives. Condolences can be left for the family at www.mynattfh.com
