Terry Dale Pate

Terry Dale Pate, age 63, of Heiskell, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025.

Terry was a loving husband, father, and friend whose greatest joy came from being with his family. He had a lifelong passion for eagles, the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle, and the simple pleasures of life. Strong-willed and determined, or as his family and close friends knew him as “stubborn”, Terry faced life’s challenges head-on, always holding true to his convictions. His work as a subcontractor reflected his dedication and skill, a career he carried on proudly until his health no longer allowed.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Pate; his five children and his 13 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 2pm-4pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel. The family invites all who knew and loved Terry to join them in honoring his life.
