Terresa Diane Vandergriff

Terresa Diane Vandergriff passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. Whether cheering them on at ballgames, having them over at the house, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, she treasured every second spent with them. Her love for her family was unwavering, and the memories she created with them will be carried forever in their hearts.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, strength, laughter, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She touched many lives through her friendships, generosity, and the genuine care she showed others throughout her life.

Though her family’s hearts are broken, they find comfort in the love and memories she leaves behind, and in knowing how deeply she was loved by so many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iva Jane Mynatt Thompson and Ben W. Thompson.

Diane leaves behind her devoted and supportive husband of 30 years, Donnie Jones; her loving daughter, Nikki (Jake) Mynatt; and her three grandsons, Tripp, Booker, and Ridge, who were truly the light of her life.

She is survived by her sister, BJ Thompson; brother, David Thompson; mother-in-law, Lula Ellison; aunt, Connie Hubbs; nieces, Melani Vaught and Dana Cassidy; cherished friends, Freddie and Julie Simpson; many extended family members, and her Highway Markings family who will miss her deeply.

Family and friends will meet Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 1:45pm at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service commenced by Rev. Randy Jones.
