Tennille Nicole Terry

Tennille Nicole Terry (“TT”), 29, of Knoxville, Tennessee, entered eternal rest on August 7, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Born on December 8, 1996, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Tennille was the beloved daughter of Michelle Nicole Sexton and Richard Matthew Terry.

Tennille will be remembered for the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her contagious laughter, warm smile, and kind heart made every person she met feel loved and welcomed. Those who knew her will always remember her famous saying, “Dude,” and the happiness she shared so effortlessly. Her beautiful spirit and the impact she made on the lives of others will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her children, Bo, Layla, and Nyomi; her parents, Michelle Nicole Sexton and Richard Matthew Terry; her brother, Matt Terry; her grandparents, Bob and Jean Terry; her aunts and uncle, Melissa Sexton, Jennifer and Steve Wise; her beloved cousins, Ashlyn Rodriguez, Colton Wise, Tiara Bennett, Montana Bennett, Jahnessa Bennett, and Jordan Capps; and her special childhood friends, Cierra Timpano and Casey McCurry.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eleanor, and her grandparents, Eddie & Linda Sexton.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Tennille’s love, laughter, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and she will be deeply missed every day.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with the service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
