Tamela Louisa Potts

Tamela Louisa (Roberts) Potts, age 60, of Clinton, TN passed away Friday, September 26th, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

Tamela spent her life helping others, as a CNA at Senior Citizens Home Assistance and host of other jobs in the CNA field. She loved her granddaughter Paisley who was the light of her life. Tamela enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

Tamela is preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Roberts; mother, Shirley (Byrd) Martin; son Charles L. Poland; Sisters; Sherry Erwin and Helen Roberts; Late husband; Brian Lane.

She is survived by, husband Jake Potts, daughter Serena Poland, Son Robert Poland, Step-daughter Ciara Lane, Step-Son Adam Lane, Bonus son David Newton. Including, Niece Brandy (Eddie) Woods, Danny (Paula) Erwin.

She is survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a host of great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thanks for the care of Mrs. Tamela to Covenant Home Care & Hospice.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel with a service following at 7:00pm with Chaplain Devon Huss officiating.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
