Susan Carol Jones

Susan Carol Jones, age 71, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2023.  She was a graduate of Central High School and was very passionate about St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and various animal programs. She is preceded in death by parents, Rev. Herman and Lenora Wells. Susan is survived by her husband, Michael Edward Jones; children, Sherry Ellen Weaver, Shannon Elizabeth Jones, Laura Beth Wood; sister, Judy Walker; brother, Doug Wells; grandchildren, Spencer Terry, Andrew Terry, Evan Weaver, Alex Weaver, Will Shaffer, Avery Shaffer, Harvey Wood; other relatives, Ronnie and Karen Mills, Bobby Walker, and several nephews and nieces; special friends, Eddie and Emma Nichols, John and Debbie Sneed, Bob Lowe, David Boone, Paul Ray Luallen; four legged companions, Maggie, Louie and Rosie. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 pm Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
