Susan Seymour Blazier

Susan Seymour Blazier age 69 (January 31, 1955-May 27, 2024) of Knoxville, arrived in heaven escorted by angels and holding the hand of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. She was in her home with loving family and her 4 legged nurse Bo beside her. Susie (fondly known as Suki by her 5 grandchildren and friends and family) was the youngest of 7 children. She was a 1973 graduate of Powell High School. Three months later, she and Dennis were married. In 1976, their son Kevin was born. In 1977, their daughter TerriAnn was born. In describing their children, John 3 verse 4 is used. “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” At the age of 32, Susie went back to school and earned her LPN degree. She worked for NHC the last 27 years. She encouraged and supported Dennis in his calling as a Minister. They served in 4 Churches in the states of Indiana, Virginia and Tennessee over a period of 42 years. A very special thanks to the medical team at Covenant Hospice Care. If her children were choosing pallbearers, it would be the wonderful group of ladies in her Sunday School with their teacher Pamela Pullin. There will be a 5:00 p.m. worship service on Sunday, June 9, at Sharon Baptist Church Ministry Center. Due to Dennis’ health there will not be a receiving of friends. Rev. Dennis Blazier and Rev. Kevin Blazier will lead the service.
