Steven Edgar Carver

Steven E. Carver, Sr. age 77 of North Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a 45+ year member and choir member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church. Retired from Briggs Inc. after 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, John and Geneva Carver. Survivors include wife of 57 years, Carolyn Carver; son, Steven E. Carver Jr.; daughter, Sheila (Darrell) Smith; grandchildren, Peyton (David) Brooks, Steven E. Carver III (Tripp), Presley Carver (special friend, Samantha Brooks), Corban Carver (special friend, Amanda Pilant); niece, Wendy Mellette; great nephew, Bailey Mellette; great niece, Miranda Mellette; great-great nephew, Jameson Mellette; cousin, Rickey Baldwin (Renaté); Special friends, Jeff and Katrina Holbert. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 pm Celebration of Life service, Eulogist Steven Carver Jr. and David Brooks.
