Steve Edward Longmire

Steve Edward Longmire, age 67 of Halls, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He retired from Knoxville Seed and was currently an employee of Halls Flower Shop. Steve loved his grandbabies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved talking to people, and never met a stranger. Preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly McNutt, parents Barbara and Ralph Longmire, sister Cheryl Hutto. Survived by wife of 43 years, Karen Longmire, son Steven (Brittany) Longmire, daughter Kristen (Brent) Jones, grandchildren Bryson, Hayden, Brayden, Kylee, and Gracie, sister Debbie Gilbert, mother and father-in-law James and Laura Dean; nephews, Gerald “Woody” Hutto and Brandon Hutto. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, January 19, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Matt Moles officiating.
