Steve Dewayne Archer

Stevie Dewayne Archer (Steve), age 63, of Heiskell, passed over to his eternal home on Monday, August 28, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. Steve was a lifelong resident of the Fairview community in Anderson County. He graduated from Norris, Class of 1978. Upon the retirement of his father and mother, Steve became a local businessman as the owner and operator of City Auto Glass.  His favorite activities were bass fishing, woodworking and camping with his wife. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Revana Archer, and brother, Ronnie Archer.  Survived by his wife, Lorraine Archer, of 13 years, sons Blake (Louise) Archer and Logan (Sandra) Archer, stepdaughter, Janelle Zorvan, grandchildren, Alan, Artemis and Henry, sister Karen DeVente, brother Jack Archer, aunt, Betty Jessing, uncle, Paris Archer, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, September 1, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm, Reverend Tom Akin officiating. Interment will immediately follow funeral service at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake Archer, Logan Archer, Janelle Zorvan, Keith Vandagriff, Jason DeVente and Donnie Taylor.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
