Stephen Anthony Capelli, Sr.

Stephen Capelli, Sr. age 81, of Clinton, TN, formerly of Clovis, California, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. He was retired from Fresno County Sheriff Posse. Steve moved to Clinton, TN., in 2022 to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren. Steve loved to set and talk about his days ranching and farming with his brother, Frank and helping his daughter, Toni with the horses.

Steve was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Capelli, Jr., parents, Antonio and Mary Capelli, and brother, Frank Capelli. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jane Capelli, daughter, Toni Capelli and son-in-law, Doug Stidham, and grandchildren: Dalton (Stephanie) Doolittle and Tristan (Brenna) Capell.
