Stephanie Nicole Compton

Stephanie Nicole Compton, age 47 of Knoxville, TN passed away July 22, 2026. She may have been considered short at 4’ft 11”in, however, with her big personality and huge heart she would have you believe that she was 6’ft 5”in. Those close to her know her as a loving and comforting woman, who allowed God to lead her life. Preceded in death by sister Crissy Sexton, grandparents Nell and Jim Waggoner and June and Charles Sexton. Survived by husband of 11 years, Joshua Compton, parents Donnie and Sue Sexton, mother and father-in-law Sonya and Brian Kirk, sister-in-law Alisha Potter, niece Leyanna Lopez, nephew Wesley Potter, aunt Donna Welch, Uncle Ken (Christine) Waggoner, cousins Greg Welch and Tracie (Chris) Thompson, as well as many other extended family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
