Sonny Blaine Franklin of Claxton, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He loved Norris Lake and spending time with his family.
He is proceeded in death by, Claude Michael and Edna Fee Franklin; brother Mickey Franklin, Kyle Franklin; sister, Sandra Franklin.
He is survived by, wife of 47 years, Diane Franklin; children, Michael Houser, Faith Hopkins (Jeff), and Sonny Franklin Jr. (Sarah); grandchildren, Michael Houser Jr., Zachary Houser, Madelynn and Maddox Hopkins, Aubree Franklin, Eli Franklin and 3 great grandchildren; brother Jonny Franklin.
The family will be receiving of friends on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel. In lieu of flowers, family asks for donations go towards the funeral service at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at mynattfh.com.
