Shirley Trusley

Shirley Ruth Householder Trusley ; born on November 11, 1930 went home to her Lord on June 14, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack, grandson Rance Trusley, parents Luke and Dorothy Wilson Householder, brothers Bill and Bud Householder and sister Irene Copeland. Survived by her sons Brent and his wife Jana, and Randy and his wife Shelby along with six grandchildren, Eric, Josh, Jason, Cade and Walker Trusley and Jenny Wren Hall, and five great grandchildren, Aubrey and Ashley Trusley, Henry Trusley and Will and Holston Hall. Graduated from Central High School in 1948 and Knoxville General Hospital Nursing School. Best known for her 45 years of living out her faith by serving the people of her beloved East Tennessee as a registered nurse and many years watching her kids and grandkids play sports. She lived a full and generous life with her family and friends, loved camping and Florida vacations. A life long member of Bookwalter United Methodist Church, she never strayed far from her Inskip roots and her close friends and family that remain to this day. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Bookwalter Church, 4218 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Bookwalter Church Cemetery for graveside services at 11 am with Rev. Steve Doyal officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
