Shirley Faye Thomas Smith

Shirley Faye Thomas Smith, age 88 of Halls, TN, formerly of Clinton, TN passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.  She was proud of her Christian faith and was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.  Shirley was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Gertrude Thomas; husbands, Carl Boyd Smith and Ernest Wilson; brother, Clyde Thomas and sister, Betty Hansel.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Angela Smith (Jack) Justice; grandchildren, Jack "J.C." Justice III, Rachel (Grant) Janeway; great grandson, Justice Janeway; brothers, Paul (Debbie) Thomas, Steve (Treva) Thomas and sister, Brenda Swanke.

Family and friends will meet at 1:45pm, Friday, January 3, 2025 for a 2:00pm graveside service at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN.  Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating.
